Imagining Paddles Exercise
Peronal Meeting When we get stuck, it's good to go to the game and not to take things so seriously. Sara Benninga invites visitors to a game of paddles through drawing, in which the sketchbook will serve as a platform for a game in which everyone wins. Sara Benninga is a painter and art researcher. She lectures at Tel Aviv University and Bezalel Academy, and completed her PhD in Art History at the Hebrew University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Art at Bezalel. Her artistic practice focuses on large oil paintings in which she builds figurative and abstract narrative scenes. |
תרגיל דמיון במטקות
מפגש אישי כשנתקעים, טוב לפנות למשחק ולא לקחת את הדברים כל כך ברצינות. שרה בנינגה מזמינה את המבקרים למשחק מטקות רישומי, בו ספר הסקיצות ישמש כמצע למשחק, לפי תורות, בו כולם מנצחים.1 שרה בנינגה היא ציירת וחוקרת אמנות, מרצה באוניברסיטת תל-אביב ובבצלאל. סיימה דוקטורט בתולדות האמנות באוניברסיטה העברית, כמו גם תואר ראשון באמנות בבצלאל. הפרקטיקה האמנותית שלה מתמקדת בציורי שמן גדולים אשר בהן היא בונה סצנות נראטיביות בין הפיגורטיבי למופשט.1 |
