Jacques Servin will read his work-in-progress, a Powerpoint talk about alienation and how (not) to solve it.
Jacques Servin (aka Andy Bichlbaum) is participating at the Art Cube Artists’ Studios International Artist Residency program, with the support of the Jerusalem Foundation. Servin is part of the culture-jamming activist duo The Yes Men. Through actions known as "tactical media" or "media hacking,” and with the principle that lies can expose the truth, The Yes Men aim to build awareness and outrage over corporate and governmental injustice and dehumanisation. Jacques is also a writer, and is currently working on a performance piece. His last position was as Visiting Associate Arts Professor at NYU. |
