Yael Serlin invites you to take part in a piece that explores memories of immigration by attempting to reconstruct the last memory of the old place of residence and the first memory of the new one. In the session, you will recount the memories of your immigration while the artist documents the session. Later, you will create a sketch for an image of that memory, which will be created in layers of tracing paper. At the end of the session you can take the sketch you created home with you.
Yael Serlin is multidisciplinary artist who works with drawing, print, sculpture, installation, and video. She earned a master’s degree from HaMidrasha School of Art and a bachelor’s degree with distinction from Emuna College. Her works have been featured in many Israeli and international group exhibitions and are included in private collections. تدعوكم ياعيل سيرلين للمشاركة في العمل الذي يتناول ذكريات الهجرة بواسطة محاولة استرجاع الذاكرة الأخيرة من مكان السكن القديم، والذاكرة الأولى من مكان السكن الجديد. يمكنكم في اللقاء الحديث عن ذكرياتكم عن الهجرة والانتقال، في حين ستقوم الفنانة بتوثيق اللقاء. فيما بعد، ستشكلون سوية سكتشا لصورة تلك الذاكرة، والتي ستركب من أوراق مجزأة. يمكنكم أخذ المخطط معكم إلى البيت.1
ياعيل سيرلين، فنانة متعددة التخصصات تعمل في الرسم ،الطباعة ،النحت ومنشآت الفيديو، وتنشط في ورش الفنانين في القدس. وهي حاصلة على درجة الماجستير من كلية بيت بيرل للفنون وبكالوريوس بتفوق من كلية اموناه. وقد اشتركت في العديد من المعارض الجماعية في البلاد، وتتواجد أعمالها في مجموعات خاصة.1 www.artiststudiosjlm.org/yael-serlin |
יעל סרלין מזמינה אתכם לקחת חלק בעבודה העוסקת בזיכרונות של הגירה באמצעות ניסיון לשחזר את הזיכרון האחרון ממקום המגורים הישן, והזיכרון הראשון ממקום המגורים החדש. במפגש תוכלו לספר על זיכרונות ההגירה והמעבר שלכם, בעוד האמנית תתעד את המפגש. לאחר מכן, תיצרו יחד סקיצה לתמונה של אותו הזיכרון, שתורכב משכבות של ניירות פרגמנט. את הסקיצה תוכלו לקחת אתכם הביתה.1
