Sara Benninga is a painter who focuses on the dynamics between her subjects in various situations, juxtaposing real and fictional figures from her own life with images of cultural icons and film stars. You are invited to converse with the artist while you are modeling, painted on a pre-prepared canvas. At the end of the day, all of the artist's guests will be on the same canvas, and each subject will receive a photograph of the completed canvas one month later.
Sara Benninga lives in Jerusalem and works in her studio at the New Gallery, Teddy Stadium. She has a BFA from Bezalel, and is a doctoral candidate in Art History, a field in which she holds an MA. Sara was awarded a printmaking grant by the Jerusalem Print Workshop (2016) and participated in the two-person show Trickle at the New Gallery, Teddy Stadium (2017). sarabenninga.wixsite.com/sarabenninga |
ساره بنينجا هي رسامة تتناول الديناميكية بين مواضيع رسمها بوضعيات مختلفة. هي تجمع بين شخصيات حقيقية ووهمية من سيرتها الشخصية ومن عالم السينما والثقافة. لدى زيارة الاستديو سوف تدعون للتحدث مع الفنانة بينما تشكلون موديلا للرسم على كانافاس جهز مسبقا. في نهاية اليوم سوف يشكل الزوار المختلفون جزءا من رسمة واحدة. بعد شهر سوف يحصل الضيوف على صورة للرسمة النهائية.1
تعيش ساره بنينجا في القدس وتنتج في الاستديو التابع لورش الفنانين في تيدي، وهي خريجة BFA و MFA في بتسلئيل وحاصلة على درجة دكتوراه في تاريخ الفن. فازت بمنحة الإبداع لورشة الطباعة للعام 2016، وعرضت في المعرض الزوجي " تسرب" في ورش الفنانين في تيدي في العام 2017.א sarabenninga.wixsite.com/sarabenninga |
שרה בנינגה היא ציירת העוסקת בדינמיקה בין מושאי הציור שלה בסיטואציות שונות. היא מפגישה בין דמויות אמתיות ופיקטיביות מהביוגרפיה האישית שלה ומעולם הקולנוע והתרבות. בביקור בסטודיו תוזמנו לשוחח עם האמנית בעודכם משמשים מודל לציור על קנבס שהוכן מראש. בסופו של היום האורחים השונים יהוו חלק מציור אחד. לאחר חודש יקבלו המתארחים תצלום של הציור הסופי.1
שרה בנינגה מתגוררת בירושלים ופועלת בסדנאות בבצלאל MA-ו BFA האמנים בטדי, בוגרת לימודי ודוקטורט בתולדות האמנות. זכתה במלגת יצירה של סדנת ההדפס ירושלים לשנת 2016, והציגה בתערוכה הזוגית 'זליגה' בסדנאות האמנים בטדי בשנת 2017.א sarabenninga.wixsite.com/sarabenninga |
