​​This Fellowship is a partnership with Apexart in New York City and is made possible by the Jerusalem foundation. Through the partnership each year a NY based artist travels to our residency, and one of our resident artists travels to the fellowship in NY. In this unique fellowship developed by Apexart, the artists are not allowed to engage in art or networking, and should only experience the city and its people.

Nathan Catlin (New York, USA, Residency, June) was born in southern California and lived in San Francisco before moving to Brooklyn in 2009. He received his MFA in visual arts from Columbia University in 2012, with special focus on printmaking. Since then he has been an adjunct professor teaching relief printmaking at the university and has shown his art around the country and internationally. He is the Studio and Project Manager at the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies at Columbia University and is the author of the children's book titled Animals with Insecurities.

ניית'ן קייטלין (ניו יורק, ארה״ב, רזידנסי, יוני) השתתף בתוכנית במסגרת שיתוף פעולה ארוך טווח עם אפקס ארט בניו יורק בתמיכת קרן ירושלים. במסגרת שיתוף הפעולה מתקיימים חילופי אמנים - בכל שנה אמן ניו יורק מגיע לשהות בירושלים ואחד מאמני סדנאות האמנים נוסע לשהות בניו יורק. במסגרת תוכנית יחודית זו שפותחה על ידי אפקס ארט, האמנים מתבקשים לא לעסוק באמנות, לא לצפות באמנות ולא לפתח קשרים בעולם האמנות, אלא לחוות את העיר ותושביה באופנים שונים ומגוונים המוצעים להם על ידי הגוף המארח.1
 
ניית'ן קייטלין נולד בדרום קליפורניה וחי בסן פרנסיסקו לפני שעבר לברוקלין ב-2009.א
הוא קיבל תואר שני באמנות מאוניברסיטת קולומביה ב-2012, שם התמקד במדיום ההדפס.1
מאז הוא מלמד שם ומציג ברחבי העולם ואף כתב ספר ילדים.1
