Maytal Rotenberg
Maytal Rotenberg, a local resident of the Art Cube Artists’ Studios, traveled to NY in the frame of the partnership with Apexart in New York City, made possible by the Jerusalem foundation. Through the partnership a NY based artist travels to our residency, and one of our resident artists travels to the fellowship in NY. In this unique fellowship developed by Apexart, the artists are not allowed to engage in art or networking, and should only experience the city and its people.
Maytal Rotenberg is an artist-investigator who lives and works in Jerusalem. Holding a BFA from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Rotenberg investigates the site-specific, the case, the situation, and the object by using various kinds of tools from different mediums and disciplines. Rotenberg has taken part in different projects and residencies, including Daniela Passal Art and Media Center in Mamuta; Manofim, the Jerusalem Art Festival; Barbur Gallery B&B; and the Libling Plan in the urban conservation center of White City, Tel Aviv. She is also a graduate of the Art Cube Artists Studios long-term residency program.
