Diana Berkov is a multidisciplinary artist based in Jerusalem, who graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in 2024. Her work encompasses textiles, wool threads, raw canvas, silkscreen printing techniques, photography, sculpture, and various materials. Berkov’s photography and sculpture have been featured in several magazines, including Unhinged Magazine, which showcased images from her “Lovers” series, sculptures, and knitting works, accompanied by a personal interview. She participated in the group exhibition “Generation 2.0” at Studio Export in Jerusalem, curated by Ron Adari, a graduate of the Department of Visual and Material Culture at Bezalel. Berkov is also a graduate of the tattoo artist training course at Studio BEZDNA in Jaffa. Her exploration of holistic medicine, particularly Chinese medicine, focuses on the connections between colors, moods, elements, textures, sounds, sensations, and meridian imagery, as well as the symbolism and iconography of various religions and cultures. This research influences her work, deepening the connection between spirit and matter and enhancing the understanding of the impact of colors and materials on body and soul.

In my work, I delve into the complex relationship between matter and spirit, between humans and nature, and the existential processes of life, death, and renewal. I employ abstract creations to express the fundamental ideas of life: constant change, the cyclicality of nature, and the renewal of yin and yang. Observing plants, stones, and natural processes that encompass everything around us evokes questions about existence, time, eternity, being, and nothingness. The forms I create may seem as if they were made in another world, yet they are still present here, standing within time and prompting the viewer to reflect on human existence, contemporary reality, and our connection to the past and future. These works highlight the tension between stability and fragility, between what is seen and what lies beyond.

​I use layers of color and transparencies, and full movements that offer a space of freedom and evoke a sense of infinity, operating from a desire to delve into existential questions without offering definitive answers. The painting does not always represent tangible reality but creates a space where the viewer experiences an inner journey, contemplates, and feels what lies between the revealed and what is hidden behind it.

ديانا بار كوف, فنانة متعددة التخصصات تخرجت من قسم الفنون في بتسلئيل عام 2024 وهي تعيش في القدس. تعمل مع المنسوجات والخيوط الصوفية والقماش الخام وتقنية الشاشة الحريرية والتصوير الفوتوغرافي والنحت والمواد المختلفة. قدمت أعمال التصوير الفوتوغرافي والنحت في مجلات متنوعة، من بينها مجلة Unhinged، حيث تم عرض صور من سلسلة "lovers" ومنحوتات وأعمال حياكة إلى جانب مقابلة شخصية. شاركت في المعرض الجماعي "Generation 2.0" في ستوديو اكسبورت في القدس للقيم رون أدري، خريج قسم الثقافة البصرية والمادية في بتسلئيل. تخرجت من دورة تدريب فناني الوشم في ستوديو BEZDNA في يافا. تبحث في الطب الروحاني من خلال الطب الصيني، الذي يركز على العلاقة بين الألوان والحالات المزاجية والعناصر والأنسجة والأصوات والأحاسيس والصور الماريديانية، بالإضافة إلى الرمزية والأيقونات للأديان والثقافات المختلفة. يؤثر هذا التحقيق على أعمالها ويعمق العلاقة بين الروح والمادة وفهم تأثير الألوان والمواد على الجسم والروح

تتناول أعمالي العلاقة المعقدة بين المادة والروح، بين الإنسان والطبيعة، والعمليات الوجودية للحياة والموت والتجديد. أستخدم الأعمال التجريدية للتعبير عن الأفكار التي تشكل أساس الحياة: التغيير المستمر، دورات الطبيعة، تجديد الين واليانغ. إن تأمل النباتات والأحجار والعمليات الطبيعية التي تشمل كل ما يحيط بنا، تثير في نفسي أسئلة حول الوجود، حول الزمن والأبدية، حول ما هو كائن وما هو غير موجود. قد تبدو الأشكال التي أصنعها في أعمالي وكأنها خلقت في عالم آخر، لكنها لا تزال حاضرة هنا، تقف في الزمن وتلهم المشاهد للتأمل في الوجود الإنساني والواقع المعاصر وارتباطنا بالماضي والمستقبل. تؤكد هذه الأعمال على التوتر بين الاستقرار والهشاشة، بين ما يُرى وما وراءه. أستخدم طبقات من الألوان والورق الشفاف، والحركات الكاملة التي توفر مساحة من الحرية وتثير شعورًا باللانهاية ينطلق من الرغبة في التعمق أكثر في الأسئلة الوجودية دون تقديم إجابات لا لبس فيها. ولا تمثل اللوحة دائماً واقعاً ملموساً، بل تخلق مساحة يختبر فيها المشاهد رحلة داخلية، يتأمل ويشعر فيها بما بين ما ينكشف وما يخفى خلفه

דיאנה ברקוב היא אמנית רב תחומית בוגרת מחלקה לאמנות בבצלאל 2024 ומתגוררת בירושלים. עובדת עם טקסטיל, חוטי צמר, קנבס גולמי, טכניקה של הדפס משי, צילום, פיסול וחומרים שונים. הציגה עבודות צילום ופיסול במגוון מגזינים, כולל מגזין Unhinged, שם הוצגו צילומים מהסדרה ״lovers”, פסלים ועבודות סריגה לצד ראיון אישי. השתתפה בתערוכה קבוצתית ”דור 2.0“ בסטודיו אקספורט בירושלים שאצר רון אדרי, בוגר המחלקה לתרבות חזותית וחומרית בבצלאל. בוגרת קורס להכשרת אמני קעקועים ב- Studio BEZDNA ביפו. חוקרת רפואה הוליסטית דרך הרפואה הסינית, אשר מתמקדת בקשר שבין צבעים, מצבי רוח, אלמנטים, מרקמים, צלילים, תחושות ודימויים מרידיאנים, כמו גם סימבוליזם ואיקונוגרפיה של דתות ותרביות שונות. חקירה זו משפיעה על עבודותיה ומעמיקה את החיבור בין הרוח והחומר והבנת השפעת הצבעים והחומרים על הגוף והנפש.1

עבודותיי עוסקות בקשר המורכב שבין החומר לרוח, בין האדם לטבע, ובתהליכים הקיומיים של החיים, המוות וההתחדשות. אני משתמשת ביצירות אבסטרקטיות כדי להביע את הרעיונות שעומדים בבסיס החיים: שינוי מתמיד, מחזוריות הטבע, התחדשות היין והיאנג. התבוננות בצמחים, אבנים, ותהליכים טבעיים שכוללים את כל מה שסובב אותנו, מעוררת בי שאלות על קיום, על הזמן והנצחיות, על ה-יש והאין. הצורות שאני יוצרת בעבודותיי עשויות להיראות כאילו נוצרו בעולם אחר, אך הן עדיין נוכחות כאן, עומדות בתוך הזמן ומעוררות את הצופה להרהר בקיום האנושי, במציאות העכשווית ובחיבור שלנו לעבר ועתיד. עבודות אלה מדגישות את המתח שבין יציבות לשבריריות, בין מה שנראה לבין מה שמעבר לו. אני משתמשת בשכבות צבע ושקיפויות, ותנועות מלאות המציעות מרחב של חופש ומעוררות תחושת אינסופיות הפועלת מתוך הרצון להעמיק בשאלות קיומיות מבלי להציע תשובות חד-משמעיות. הציור לא תמיד מייצג מציאות מוחשית אלא מייצר חלל בו הצופה חווה מסע פנימי, מהרהר ומרגיש את מה שבין הנגלה לבין מה שמסתתר מאחוריו.1
